What vBulletin forums have customized their templates to such an extent that they're almost unrecognizeable as vB? (And for bonus points, who was the designer?)
Please, don't link to your own site :) (Though if you really feel you've customized your own vB that much, maybe you should ask someone else if they're willing to vouch for it and post the link themselves)

I think so; Savage X mentioned it as an example in another thread.

If I remember correctly, the second one is Erwin's forum. He used to be a Admin on vb.org.

That looks insane. Imagine the amount of effort put into such an appearance.

INCREDIBLE! From a customization point of view, the second one is unbelievable! The first one looks a lot better though.

I can't even begin to imagine. It's going to be an absolute joy if and when they upgrade to vB 4.x.

While it appears to be run by Erwin Loh, I don't think Onlinelife is powered by vBulletin. Some layout elements are consistent for the controls but the code would have been completely rewritten to run off the output provided.

I don't know. I was told it was, but it's so hard to tell. The majority of it looks like it has nothing to do with vBulletin, while you might notice little hints of vB at some points. Maybe it used to use vBulletin at some point and either changed or transformed so much of the vBulletin code that it basically turned into its own thing.

If you're talking about upgrading to vBulletin 4, your existing CSS is no longer valid. vBulletin 4 has 120K of CSS in 46 files/templates. Different files are loaded for different purposes though. Most pages only load 3 or 4 of them and the majority of the look and feel is controlled in 2 files - vbulletin.css and vbulletin-chrome.css. You can still modify colors and such with Style Vars though.

ok wayne what i am saying is my style is setup with ALOT of .css files external from the internal css in vb in fact most of the images on the site are called by that external css. That being said with the current code structure i have to call those files up in the HEADINCLUDE template. I am sure i will have to call them again i will just have to get a hold of vb4 in order to see exactly what i am going to have to do with it but i am sure it will work. the only thing is finding the place to put the code ;)
