I hope I'm posting this in the right section:

Is there a way to extend the time on "time outs" using vBulletin (3.8.2)? It just seems like my site times out quicker than other sites. I'm talking about being kicked off after "X" amount of time with no activity. I have to log on to my site about every 10-15 mins if I haven't been active on it. But sites like Adminaddict I can go almost all day without having to refresh or relogin?

Are you checking the Remember Me when you log in to your site? Check to see what you have the Session Timeout set at in vboptions > Cookies . The default is 900 seconds (or 15 minutes).

    Thanks,

Yes it's set at 900 but the remember me part doesn't work? I can check the box and 15 minutes later with no activity I'm having to re-login?

Do you have something on your PC that clears cookies automatically or deletes them when you close the browser. All the remember me does is extend the cookie expiration to one year.

Perhaps your cookie domain setting is incorrect so the cookies aren't working?
