Doing A/B testing on vB templates with Website Optimizer?

I watched this video on doing A/B experiments using Google Website Optimizer and am a little baffled as to how it could be used to test out the effectiveness of different vB templates.

Could you just enter the forum URL into the Web site Optimizer form with the query string ?style=x to get it to load the different templates? Anything else you would have to do differently?

 

That definitely looks neat, Michelle! I'm not sure how it works but I certainly want to set aside some time and look into this.
