    Do you hate stupid drivers?

I do. I mean it's just f***en stupid to drive 10mph UNDER the speed limit. If you're that scared to drive, DON'T DRIVE THEN. SImple as that. Today, this car in front of me was literally 10 feet from a green light and it turned yellow. Guess what they did, slammed on the brakes to not go through a yellow light. Idiots.

If you're not going to go at least the speed limit or a little over, STAY OFF THE DAMN ROAD.

What are your thoughts on stupid drivers? Do you hate em or what?

They annoy me, only this morning a car in front of me was approaching a roundabout, there where no cars approaching from their right but they still stopped at the junction and then promptly went on their way.

Break happy drivers tend to annoy the hell out of me but most days it's an uneventfully experience.

You ought to tap them one day.

I hate slow drivers as well. Most of the time, no offense, it's usually older people. After a certain age, I think that people shouldn't be able to maintain a license.

I do think that to Tom, but my grandparents and great grandfather are not like that. My great grandfather still drove at age 94 and he hated slow drivers. Same with my grandparents lol.

Hate them? No I do not.

What really pisses me off, is if the saber tooth tiger, or the dire wolf would have done their job 20,000 years ago and killed off the ancestors of those stupid people, we would not have to deal with this today.

How did their ancestors live long enough to reproduce? Much less pass their genes down for thousands of years?

That tells me someone was not doing their job. No wonder the cave bear, dire wolf and saber tooth tiger went extinct, they did not kill and eat the stupid people.

Considering that my profession entails driving for about 80% of the average work day, it's become something that I don't entirely enjoy. Having to deal with problematic drivers just tops it all off. I've learned to avoid them and be more alert than most drivers, but they still are a great nuisance.

I don't agree with this part one bit though. The speed limit is just that - a limit. Driving on the interstate is a different story, but within the city, speeding isn't a good habit to get into.

I believe that anybody over the age of 60 should have to pass a driving exam (perhaps both written and demonstrative) on a yearly basis to maintain a license. It's the only way to weed out the bad old drivers without ridding of all of them unfairly.

I don't hate anyone, but I do get highly annoyed with them.
But hey, as good a driver as you think you are, you've probably pulled your fair share of stupid driving mistakes too. We all have.

The only problem is that those older people who bug us drive almost exactly the way the testers at licensing sites want people to drive.

I beg to differ, Chani... What's new. :nana:

How do they drive like the testers want them to, when they're cutting people off. If testers teach people to drive that way, I can get my license now.

When taking a driving test on a closed course, who is there for them to cut off? Secondly, when you take a driving exam, you generally tend to behave/drive better than you normally would when you aren't being tested. ;)

You take tests on a closed course o.O?

When I took my driving test it was on the normal roads. They had a course laid out, but it wasn't closed. So I did have idiots around me being stupid and going slow to lol. But when I took my test I made sure to pass it so I drove like they wanted me to. Now, I would kill some idiot driving like that -_-.

Maybe I should of made a poll that said, who speeds. I certainly do, on the main highway and in city streets, though on city streets I only do maybe 5 over, on the highway, maybe 20 over lol.

I figured during driving tests, they had you on the normal road. Because you have to do parking, etc.

Besides, how can you learn to drive around cars on a closed course?

    I just wasn't positive.

I think closed courses are only used for racing, etc. I could be wrong though.

I guess it varies from location to location. Perhaps by state. Either way, I took all of my driving tests on closed courses.

Not necessarily. I could literally go on and on about the driving issues.

Thank your local legistators for it. I spent over 10 years a one of those driver's licensing examiners, AMVA & CDL ceritfied to boot. With budget cuts, tax payer demand where else do you think things are going to get cut. I just can't get over the fact most people are in a 3000lb vehicle and still think it's okay talking on a cell phone doing 60 down the hwy. Excuse me wanna try that trick welding a chain saw.
