    Hey,

I've done this recently to verify original files with respect to finally upgrading from 3.8.1 to 3.8.4 PL 1.

forums.php file comes up as mismatched (v3.7.2) compared to the latest version upgraded to.

Funny thing is, I looked at all my previous version of v3.x, I started with 3.7.1 I think, and determined that 3.7.x was the last version with file: forums.php. v3.8.x do not have this file.

I tried removing the file and it breaks my site. So if someone can kindly explain this...big kudos. Otherwise I will ask vB support.

    Thanks in advance.

there is no forums.php file by default in vBulletin

You've probably renamed your original index.php file to forums.php and installed vBAdvanced as index.php

Download your vBulletin script, extract it, and rename the index.php file to forums.php and reupload

    See if that fixes it.
