darn new message icons

    I'm wagering that this is prolly just a problem with my puter, but the new/old message icons don't seem to work. Almost everything says that there are new messages since the last time I visited, and it's usually wrong. It's an annoyance, but if it's just me, I guess I'll have to deal with it .

    After a while, cookies can occasionally get corrupted.

    Ya know, I've been having this same problem and I *do* show up as my username and not just "member" so I don't think it's just my cookies? I even followed those steps and deleted all my cookies and logged back in saving settings and it's still happening ..

    I dumped the cookies and my temp files, but it's still not working. Blech. Oh, well.

    Try going to this URL:

    http://www.aliensoup.com/cgi-bin/forums/Ultimate.cgi

    Once there and it's finished loading, press refresh/reload on your browser, and see that they all are turned off.

    Then procede as usual and let me know if it begins to operate normally...
