I agree. Especially for it being free.

If anyone decides to try it out, tell us about your experiences.

    And 100 entries per month.

But what if it just so happens you have one of those boards where you have people submitting 10 entries a day?

That happens to be what we use for our contact us page. :)

Very nice, if I must say. I've been very pleased with their tools.

Even AdminAddict doesn't get that many inquiries per day or month. It's possible, obviously, but until that quota is reached (and that is a long ways away), I'm stickin' with Wufoo! :D

I know, I just like playing the "What If" game.

Wufoo's actually nice - I just don't like the fact that you only have one user. If you run a forum like AdminAddict, having three users would be nice. Unless, of course, you all have an account, [email protected] set up, that all administrators have access to.

We get well over 10 "contact us" a day and I really love the Contact Thread hack from Ragtek. It opens a thread in the forum so I can distribute it out for people to respond while maintaining the control over it.

    That does sound cool.

Rather than having to check e-mails, it's convenient and posted within the site. Nice.

Um...for those of you with forum scripts with a contact form build in, why do you not use that?

Probably because if people need to contact them, they can use a "Contact Us" forum. Others, they just find it useless.

The only three scripts that I seem to use online all have built-in contact forms, and I've never had any problem with any of them.

And I believe all three of them either have built-in ways of creating new subject, or there are mods available for that.

Not accusing...I guess I just don't get it.

Depends on the site, if its WP powered, then I use one of their many free modifications for contact forms.

If its vBulletin, I use the built in contact form, and anything else I usually just create a simple one, or use a mailto link.

Nick, what are the benefits of going with the Wufoo contact us form versus the built-in vBulletin one?

I was debating on putting together a custom contact page on my new forum, but was on the fence because the built in does seem to do what I need for it to do. But, just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing out on anything that Wufoo offered :)

Arny I can throw you a contact us form together in flash. It will have captcha and everything. Let me know if you want one.

A small sample of one is here on my site.

I can create it anyway you want. Once completed I can just send you the files.
