What are some common issues you regularly face as an administrator? Something that you find to be tedious work, perhaps, but is required of you to do in order to maintain your forum.

Deleting spam, pornography, updating modifications, finding ways to accommodate members, being creative with contest ideas, etc.

None of these are particularly boring, though, more or less, are not that fun.

Trying how to best keep track of the good information in the threads so it is not lost.

That's a good one, Abomination. On my Linnie forum there is so much good information. I used to keep a master thread with links to informative threads, sorted by topic. I would go through each section of the forum every few weeks and collect the links. It quickly became too tedious so I just stopped doing it.

The master thread has come in handy though because there are quite a few links in it.

Instead of you adding links to it, if closed, unlock the thread and have members who post information add the thread's link into the master thread.

I'd have to say picking out which threads should be Featured. I've looked into automated ways of doing so, but none of them allowed me to manually exclude certain threads.
