    Hi all,

    I've been messing with vB 4, but it seems that the CMS does not get other theme by default. Although a different theme is selected, the CMS will be having default's. Or is there any requirement on the theme so the CMS uses the theme as the rest of vB?

    Thanks in advance.

    To set it as default you need to go into the CMS ACP.

    I quickly browsed through the CMS options on vB's AdminCP, but couldn't find any option to make vB's theme to be aplied to the CMS. Just something about layouts for specific pages.

    I'd normally look to the manual for this kind of thing but in this case vBSolutions has not seen fit to update the 3.8 manual to 4.0 at this time. Funny, doesn't "Gold" mean that support is in place as well?

    Silly me for thinking this way...

    Well, does somebody knows how to use a theme other than default's on the CMS?

    Go into the CMS Admin CP and select it.

    NOT the main Admin CP

    *feels retarded* I can't find the funky CMS AdminCP. I read the three documentation documents that came in the CMS, but it doesn't say anything about an AdminCP =/

    Could you tell me where/how to find for a suber uber mega dummy/stupid person using vB? Thanks.

    See the title "Front Page"? Hover over it and there should be a little pencil, Click it

    Then on the left hand side there will be "Style" and a drop down menu, Select your skin ;)

    Admin CP->Settings->Options->ForumSidebar and Block Options.

    Enable -> Yes

    I think I messed up my vB installation >.> The sidebar doesn't appear. And I can't seem to be able to change styles to see if it's my theme which is causing the sidebar not to show up. When I try to do it with ?styleid=1 it doesn't change =/

    To enable the sidebar on your forum page:
    vboptions > forum sidebar > set those to what you want
    forums & mods > forum blocks > add the blocks you want

    If you still don't see it, then make sure you revert your FORUMHOME template.

    Thanks, it worked :) The sidebar now appears, but it only works right when I put it on the left. I'm not sure what caused this, but when I set the sidebar on the right, the negative margin gets to the right (instead of the left), which makes the sidebar to get below the container. Could this be a bug?

    lol I hope it wasn't a hate message for me :P

    Anyways, the behavior the container appears to have, seems to be the one that had when I set the sidebar on the left. But now that I changed the sidebar to the right, the container still have the inline CSS (perhaps added by JS) it used to have when the sidebar was on the left.
