Christmas skin (WIP)

Something I'm working on updating from long ago and considering making available soon for a small fee. Wondered what you folks think about it

Yep I like this John. Nice work.

 

Nice style john but I think there's a little too much green. maybe add in some red to break the colour (re-colour the lastpost to red this might break it out a little). Being a fixed style I would take advantage of this and add in snow along the top of the tcat. Being a fixed width you wouldn't need to worry about the snow repeating with glitches had it been on a fluid style. Which is why I have partial snow images on each side of my tcat.

I would also choose another font from the swirly font used. And possibly add in some nice snow effects on top of the buttons tyo break the green out in this area.

Otherwise another nice style.

 

John, I'm really digging this one! I normally see "red-heavy" holiday styles. This one is actually nicer to me because of the use of lots of green in it.

 

A small fee? What happened to "holiday spirit"?

The red category bars are a bit dull compared to the yellow category bars, John. Otherwise I like it.

Thanks for the feedback folks, I'll be doing some more tweaking to it based on your suggestions. Also, this will probably be released for free, by the way

Looks fantastic, John! It is overpowered by green -- which is not bad, I'm just not used to seeing that; as Arny said, most Christmas themes are mainly red.
