Can you give me some feedback on the forum? It is a builders forum. What do I need more ?

It is not part of the main website www.robuild.co.uk ( URL) but I am considering to install it on the main URL.

    Thanks in advance

I'm not fond of the theme at all - not builder related. Maybe add a nice banner, with a blueprint, or something of the like, a few characters on ladders building something, etc. In fact, a banner with a little of everything that you have a topic for within your forum.

Add related on/off icons, better buttons, and topic icons. Also, migrate your board to a better forum software. Something like MyBB would be nice, since it's free. Also, assuming you're the owner of Robuild.Co.Uk, instead of having the forum under Robuild.Aceboard, how about Robuild.Co.Uk/forum/ or something?

I would certainly go with Toms suggestion, if you are serious about your community then I suggest going for your own domain with your own host as well as maybe a paid forum software like vbulletin. I can only see friends, coworkers and such registering on your current forum. Design wise I am not too keen, there is nothing that makes it shout to me "I am a builders forum!" at a first glance, there is hardly any imagery which put me off too.

Honestly if you are serious enough about being an admin to sign up here then I strongly suggest being more serious about your forum and take it to another level where you will gain plenty of members through search engine traffic, be listed and indexed well in the SE's and have a great community.

Best of luck to you :)

Nice idea :) but i agree with the others.
As someone thats interested in interior design, i cant say there would really be a section for me, apart from decoration and paint. Maybe change that section to interior design, that way you are covering the whole aspect of interiors, paint and decoration.
