    Hi

I recently came up with an interesting idea and didnt find any good solution in the internet.
my idea was a web-based dedicated rss-feed service, where users could add their own feeds, select feeds from many categories, share their feeds with the whole community and benefit from a growing community-created pool of information.

the idea behind this are these:
i noticed, that im visiting up to 10 different websites to inform me about topics where i'm interested. you can use a rss-reader, but you have to add every single feed into it. to read the actual newsarticle, i have to visit the site anyway. so why not create a service which combines all the places on one spot?

also important is, that everything has to be simple. why is twitter so effective? because its damn simple. when people hear rss and feed, they don't know anything about that, except that sometimes there is this orange icon in the adressbar.
i want to offer them functions everyone can use. clean, simple and easy. only the functions needed.

i looked for something like that for several weeks, but didnt find a webservice who covered my requirements.
it is just a thought and not fully developed yet, but i would think it could be exciting and even lucrative.

i for myself am a professional php5 programmer. i could build that completely by myself, but i couldnt handle the huge amount of work that would have to be done. its just too much for a single person.
so im looking for developers who have fun working on a big project and are motivated to build up an idea from the scratch.

what do you think of the idea?
are you interested? let me know!

good luck, I've been looking for a service like that where I could publish it to my forum and let the users decide on the feeds from either entering them and/or a list

hope you find some people that can help
