I have a couple New York City- and Staten Island-themed sites coming down the pipeline, and was hoping to gather suggestions on web sites (or off-line media) to advertise on. Nothing expensive please!

Hehe, I think that's probably a little more expensive than I intended :) But you think big, I like that!

You could advertise on my site:

    sportsloungecentral.com

By cheap? What would that exact price be?

I agree; rent a billboard on Montauk Highway.

Sportswiz, you have one snazzy looking site. But I'm really looking to do some geographical targeting here :)

Run around and post flyers in bars, pubs and cafés around the areas that you will be targeting. If there are post boards in the subways (don't know) then post them there as well. Also look at ads on your local Craigslist and any local resource sites in the area. Check your local neighborhood newspapers as well. I know we have a couple where its free to post an ad.
