    Hey Guys,

Are you currently happy with the current forum software you are using? Is there anything that is annoying you, is there anything you would change? Or are you completely satisfied with your solution?

I'm pretty much satisfied. For while there vBulletin was getting sloppy and quite annoying with their upgrade today then tomorrow there's a patch released. It got to the point where I'd wait a few days to upgrade even on second level releases. That was a little short sided I'd thought but other than that vB is the cats pajamas of forum software, IMHO.

On the other hand when the new licensing scheme is finalized I'll tell you how happy I am with them then. ;)

I am very happy with it. I've been a huge vBulletin fan and user ever since I joined my first vBulletin powered forum and hated it because I couldn't figure out why they had the poster's information above the posts as apposed to the left side, what I was used to (interesting run-on :p). I quickly began to love it.

I've never created a forum with anything else since I found out about vBulletin a few years back, except for MyBB when I want to go free. Hell, I never even join a forum nowadays if it's not powered by vBulletin. That may be a little biased and perhaps a poor reason to not join a community if it has good content, but it's true for me.

Edit: Ironically my oldest forum account and with the most posts I've ever made on a forum is powered by Vanilla. Way back when I joined it was using IPB. About two years ago they changed it. I don't think of it as a forum, more like some kind of comment-adding system. One that I've contributed to almost 8,000 times.

I am thrilled with the software that I am currently using.

For years, I have been using both vBulletin and Invision Power Board. While I am more of a vBulletin fan, I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with how IPB has transformed over the years - both visually and feature-wise. The same could be said about vB. Both of these scripts have grown tremendously, and it's a joy to be using them both. You get the best of both worlds. :)
