AdminAddict Contest - $100 Amazon.com Gift Card

:hello: fellow addicts! Upon our last contest's success, we are ready to hold another! This contest's prize is much less valuable than the last but unlike the last, it is more "flexible" and is something that anybody could really use. As such, we consider this a contest to "give back" to the members who are devoted to the community rather than use your activity to promote the launch of AdminAddict.

This contest will last just one month, starting at the time of this announcement. Participating is easy: Create threads and posts to earn points. At the end of the contest, the user with the most points wins.

Creating a new thread is worth 10 points and posting a reply is worth 5 points. These are the only two ways to earn points in this contest.

Rules:

The rules are fairly simple, so we suspect violations won't be an issue. However, any user found to be in violation of the rules will be disqualified from the contest.

• Make your posts worthwhile. Don't go on a posting spree of useless messages that you wouldn't normally contribute.
• Posts in the Miscellaneous, WebmasterAddict, Introductions, Announcements and Suggestions forums are not counted.
• Every user is eligible to participate (excluding the Staff Team)

• Q: What if we don't want the prize? (see below)
• Q: Can prizes be exchanged for their cash value?
  • A: If you are not interested in claiming your rightful prize you have several options:
    1. By default, the prize will be passed down the ranks of winners. i.e. Unwanted prizes from first place will be passed on to second place and so on.
    2. You can keep the prizes and re-gift them to a member of your choice, or even give them away on your own website.
       
    
    
  
  

As mentioned before, this contest will last for one month and therefore ends on September 29, 2009.
Throughout the contest, we will periodically post a ranking list of the top 5 users with the highest point-values.

I agree with Michelle, AdminAddict keeps getting better and better.

This is the only, and I mean the ONLY administrator-forum that I have been apart of that continuously has contests-good contests!

Thanks, Arny. You are right in that we have some extremely wonderful members, and that's why we hold these contests - to "give back" and show our appreciation for their dedication.

 

They do say it's better to give than to receive.

That's why I try and help folks in whatever small way that I can all around the 'net. I'm not the most knowledgeable, but I'm willing to pitch in whenever I can.
