A Mobile Style for your members/visitors

Do you have a mobile style for your members and visitors? Alot of people these days often user their mobile devices such as their phones, and iPods to browse the web.

More and more everyday it is becoming a regular occurrence and I myself use my iPod Touch for browsing time to time so thats why I have a mobile style for my members to make their browsing easier and faster and more compatible for their mobile browsers.

 

Not really, maybe sometime in the future when I find something suitable to use

 

For your host or forum?

 

forums mainly, but I expect when PH has a proper CMS built, then it will probably have a mobile style detection added (although why you would want to go looking for hosting on your mobile is a bit beyond me)

 

Yea I know thats why I asked if you were talking about your host or a forum. But some do though, just a few people lol.

 

vBulletin 4 offers a mobile style - that is if you upgraded to that particular version or not.

 

I always try to cater to mobile devices where I can. I usually tend to use pre-built themes and solutions though to save development time, though I have been known to build mobile solutions from scratch.

 

I could create a cut down mobile style which is not very hard, but I just dont have the time so I am using a premade one.

 

I always had a mobile theme for people who used the forum on their mobile phone I like the fact that there is now apps out there for certain mobile phones now so that if you add your forum into the directory it can be found. I know IPB have their own app for forums which use their software which is pretty good

 

Yea having a mobile theme is great, but there are differences between mobile forum browsing apps and themes, but I prefer themes over apps like Tapatalk or Forumrunner.

 

I have just added forumrunner. Much better than the vb mobile style imo

 

Can they upload images through mobile themes ?
