4.0 hacks & mods

has anyone seen all the hacks and mods that have popped up recently on vBorg? Its starting to come together very nice!

 

Well, I don't mean to state this in a negative light, but not a whole lot changed with vBulletin this go around, so I don't think porting mods should really be that much of an issue right now. The forum pretty much held status quo, with mostly just a skin redesign. Really the only thing that will need to be reworked is anything dealing with style templates.

I think the only thing hurting mods for 4.0 right now would be any fallout from the recent events. Time will tell how big or limited that aspect remains.

 

It happen when 3.0.x went to 3.5, it'll takes a few weeks after gold is released and most the mods will be converted.

 

the more i see 4.0 the more i like it.

Will I use it? on a new install yes, on my existing toyota site, no.
