2.2.0 to 2.2.1 Forums Software Update Completed

This update consists mainly of typos, bug fixes, and security updates.

Please let me know if any oddities occur while using the forums!

 

Hi Alien.

On my home PC, I am running Windows 98SE, IE5.5 SP2. Most of the time, as I enter Soup Talk, my browser freezes - usually after loading some of the top banner, and one or two of the ads. I have to "End Task" to be able to try again. Once I am in, I am usually able to use it for a while... but pressing "Refresh" is deadly... freezes it up again every time.

I don't know if this is related to your update or not - it only happens on my home PC. My work PC is running Windows 2000 SP2, and has no problems.

Anyone else have this?

You might want to copy and paste your help request into the Software forum for best results (unless it ONLY happens on Alien Soup only, then you can put that into Help & Suggestions forum). This seems to be happening to you before we upgraded which was only 5 hours ago, so I'm guessing it's unrelated to the update.
