Our community has two brand new features

-Live Chat

Live Chat is now available and active on our site. The chat is integrated with our site/forums and it uses the site database. For this reason, the live chat is available only to registered members.
Once registered, to login in the chat, please use your forum username/pass

-Arcade Games

Arcade games are back on our forums. The Arcade is available without restrictions to registered members only.
Join and compete for the top record!!!

As GamesOverview is continuing to grow, I am excited to announce a few new features and developments for our community.

Effective immediately, anyone is able to visit, browse, register and participate on our forums using the IPhone, Android, Blackberry and Windows 7. This exciting feature is available thanks to the Tapatalk application

With the MMO RIFT and the FPS HomeFront getting closer and closer to release, I am excited to announce the launch of the GamesOverview links database for RIFT Guilds and HomeFront Clans/Units.

Today, I have some brand new features to announce:

-Facebook like notifications about replies and private messages

-Xfire and Steam Groups

-brand new social toolbar provided by BumpIn

-fully automatic index of all forum posts

-member map. Allows for members to indicate their location on a google map.

-visitor map. Map keeps track of visitors locations (countries)

-17 arcade games (with more to come)

 

I am excited to announce that effective today GamesOverview is covering the upcoming indie FPS "Interstellar Marines". For more information and discussions about this exciting FPS, please visit our discussion forums.

In addition to this new game, GamesOverview has a new and exciting feature:

-Social Groups .Members are able to create groups and invite fellow members.

On a final note, GamesOverview needs active site members. Please invite your friends over, post on our forums and participate in discussions.

 

Today's update addresses forum cleaning, browser games and new features.

-moved the shoutbox/live chat to the bottom of the front page. This should also help with loading of the page and of the important items on the page

-trying the use of a community support software/widget for feedback and suggestions, instead of forums. The feedback/suggestions widget can be accessed at directly on our home page. Alternatively, it can be accessed directly here .By doing this, I have also moved out of view the forum section for Feedback.

-created a new Browser games category with a forum to discuss browser games in general. This is also where discussions about the upcoming forum RPG "Battle" for GamesOverview will take place
