As thing progress here, we are going to find that someone replying to an old post to ask "Did you get it?" will pop old dead messages to the top of the heap. This tends to excite people into thinking a new deal has popped up, waste time to find it IS a long dead deal. If the original post date was somehow added to the title, or the listing somewhere (could be just a shorthand version i.e. "04/27/00") then we would see it is old news and decide accordingly if it is worth the time to open.
