To Supermod or to Mod

Hi I am running a mybb community forum. My online friend (who i have worked on multiple online projects with)

They seem like a kind down to earth person. My community is small and just started a few weeks ago. Should I make him a supermod, or just a mod in one section of my forum.

He wants to contribute and has made banners for me.

I think they deserve supermod but what do you think?

If your community is quite young, you cannot be sure if this is true commitment or just for rank higher.

 

One isn't any harder than the other, if you're gonna mod a handful of forums, why not just be a global moderator so if you see spam or incorrect posts in a forum you don't moderate, as a supermod you'd be able to handle that too if a global mod isn't available.
