PhpOS from Poland

    Its still in its beta but its worth trying...... in fact its not OS (it runs on installed OS (Win/Linux etc)) but lets hope that one day it will become standalone OS....... Its open source.

    What do you think ?

    What do i think well how the Linux community is working at the moment they will never be taken serious as competition to other Operating Systems. If they all work the same it would not matter but the differences between brands makes making software more and more difficult.

    This kind of reminds me of the "OS" that runs Synology NAS systems. It works pretty well but is very niche. I don't see this OS taking off on a massive scale since right now everything is headed to mobile. Android is OpenSource and is the desktop of the future currently shipping on 85% of smartphones sold. I don't see how this project could get traction with the limited desktop purchases that are now being made. Neat idea though!
