Where to find administrators/staff?

Bascially, I'm looking for some Administrators for some forums I'm looking to setup and don't have time to run. What's the best place(s) to look for these people?

I'd normally just promote active members, but, in this case, there is no community. What's the best way to find good administrators to run the forum?

 

first, try to advertise your forum, write about it, let search crawlers index it. Than invest in some kind of SEO engine (there are few good well known ones). You are advised to look for new members by placing a link in your signature, on your biz cards, wherever you can. All this would slowly gain you community.......

There is one more way - a bit risky but still worth a try.....just send PM to current admins on other (with topic relation) forums and ask them if they would like to be admins on your forum..... they may disagree but its still worth a shot.....

 

These forums are not up yet, I'm looking for admins to run the forums for me, and I'll be a silent partner.

So what are the forums all about? you are on an admin forum I would have thought this is the place to recruit an admin or two

 

thats exactly true here..... there are quite a few good admins to choose from

 

The question I would ask is "Why would someone want to run a forum for you, if you are not going to take any active part in it?"

Well you are the only one who knows what you want in a forum how could you expect to hire people to do your work, On topic you could try TAZ.

 

I dont quite understand your post - author asked question where can he find admins that suits his needs. This kind of questions are 100% normal.....thats like when you want to hire someone for a contract - you also look for suitable person.....

 

Well all I was saying was he should do the project himself, well at least start it then hire someone from there because freelancers or other do not usually know the mind of the original owner also stated " you could find some people from TAZ.
