You're welcome. Yeah future plans are to also add Apache 2.4 (event worker) + PHP-FPM and OpenLiteSpeed + LSAPI PHP support so you can have full Apache mod_rewrite/htaccess support too and switch between the 3 web servers, Nginx, Apache 2.4 and OpenLiteSpeed at will. Of course this is way into the future :D

    Hey George.

One of the main goals of this package is to help people install a high performance PHP web server stack, right? How about also looking into an HHVM package too? I bet there will be a really big push by a lot of power users of PHP to HHVM and a package to simplify the installation would be a real hit for sure.;)

Well Centmin Mod project started out as just me wanting an out of the box optimal performaning LEMP web stack for my own use as well as some of my paid optimisation consulting clients (who have switched to Centmin Mod for their forums). Then demand just grew from there so now have many Centmin Mod users across all forum softwares (including vB, Xenforo, IPB etc) as well as non-forum use i.e. highest usage is amongst Wordpress users according to my Centmin Mod survey at http://centminmod.com/survey2013

    current numbers

As to HHVM, already have tested it with Centmin Mod at https://plus.google.com/b/104831941868856035845/104831941868856035845/posts/AVNxYZ958Bc - installs fine but ain't that beneficial with forum softwares right now. Wordpress likes it though.

So yeah lots to do with very little free time to do it heh. The brief to do list at https://github.com/centminmod/centminmod/wiki takes priority while I see how HHVM and general web app compatibility goes i.e. mysqli support in HHVM 2.5 etc

Hmm, interesting. I am following your Google+ page and I never get any updates from it. Maybe that is why Google+ just isn't getting any traction against Facebook. LOL!

Thanks for the update. I think HHVM is going to give PHP a nice boost. I just hope it doesn't actually "kill it". They say, if an application is actually written for it (<?hh) and does heavy processing work, then you can get performance comparable to other compiled languages, which is a great performance improvement even over opcode caches. There is still a way to go for it to really start to move. IDE's need to support Hack. PHPUnit (over the CLI) isn't supported. But other great things are possible, like programming extensions in.....PHP. It certainly has the PHP world on its head. And I see that as a good thing!:)

Yeah will be interesting to see how HHVM develops over the next 12-24 months. As to notifications, G+ page and G+ community are 2 separate but connected entities. If you follow G+ page, then you only get G+ page updates. You won't get updates for G+ Community which you need to follow separately which is where the HHVM post was :)

MariaDB 10.0.11 was just released but waiting until at least MariaDB 10.0.13 for it to be the default installed versions as 10.0.13 has some other bug fixes I'd liked tackled first according to MariaDB JIRA listings. The .07 beta does have hidden setting to enable a working upgrade MariaDB 5.5 to MariaDB 10 submenu option as outlined at https://plus.google.com/b/104831941868856035845/104831941868856035845/posts/RTBx3oYWqz3

Ok, I am following "Centmin Mod Nginx Auto Installer Project". You would think if you posted with that account *anywhere on G+*, then I'd get a notification. Again, it could be a reason why G+ just isn't winning. Lol! I'll sign up for the community.

You should start your own forum on CentminMod.com domain and not rely on less superior 3rd party stuff :)

You may want to install unzip and nano for them as well. Digital Ocean Centos 6.5 droplets do not have either of those installed by default for some reason.
