Deleting banned users from the database

    If you were going to delete banned users from your database, how would you go about doing it? Because right now, we have about 21 pages of banned users and I'd like to clean up my stats, so that the number of banned users doesn't display on my stats.

    The problem with deleting the unbanned members accounts is that, unless IP banned I believe, they could simply make another account without any trace of them being previously banned. Is that correct or am I shooting in the dark xD

    I'd say you are correct, though banning an IP isn't great either because many people have Dynamic IP's that change every time they access their service provider.

    @cpvr: 21 pages? How many per page? You seem to be strict,...... :-)
    Yes we delete banned users from db. In fact we have special script if user get banned, script automatically deletes adequate db record.

    I very rarely delete banned accounts. I need to keep them to keep track of duplicate accounts.

    I do the same thing for the same reason. I also don't want unattributable posts kicking around.
