I have put a vBulletin 5 Connect demo board for you to play with if you like.

If there was an impex module for vbulletin 5 connect I would have imported the users from here. Since there wasn't I have turned on guest posting so you can mess with it.

If you want access to the admin then sign up with the same user name and email you use here, post over there with the request and I'll set you up with admin access.

    Here's the url:

I actually shut it down after they released the "stable" version until I could upgrade it. I will be upgrading it and putting it back online later today. Wanted to get this site upgraded first.

Looks broken here. Like the CSS isn't loading.

It's fixed. I have memcached turned on for that site and on upgrade it didn't flush the cache. This is a bug that has existed for a very long time in vbulletin. In order to upgrade you need to shutoff any cache in the config. Once the upgrade is done you turn it back on. Since I don't use vbulletin I had forgot about that bug and didn't shutoff memcached for the site. It's fixed now. Had to turn cache off, rerun install and turn cache back on.

    Okay, it works now.

Out of curiosity though, what's the test for? To warn people away from buying this shoddy software?

Some people might want to kick the tires. They can do it here and get a real feel for what vbulletin 5 is.

I just want to try and do my part so people don't blindly go ahead with using vbulletin 5 because of past reputation. Of course some will think, after using it, that it is just what they need while many will look at alternatives.
