Thanks for the welcome. I tried registering with other Admin forums but was banned. And I hadn't made a single post yet. I think it's because my forum is a bit different. Not your usual phpBB, or whatever. But no matter how different, all new forums have the same issues. Especially when get started with few members. I'm here to learn from people with some experience, about effective marketing strategies and building a membership. Although I know this will take time and patience. A bit about me: I run a small family business in the UK (care homes and properties) but was in IT (Software architect) before that. I try to keep in touch with computing with small projects. Hence, jembuzz was my project for 2012. In 2013, I will be creating an iPhone game at the but plan to market my forum at the same time.
welcome to AA. some forums do not allow domain names as their usernames. that might have been the reason. (just a wild guess)
