IPB staff ROCK! You get to hear about what's coming (ie: roadmap) and actually see it come soon after (months not years). And the staff actually read the suggestions and respond to some of them. Even the SEO suggestions have been taken seriously and changes have been made as a result. What more can I say? You have to be a customer to truly appreciate IPB.
A thing to keep in mind... when we post a blog entry regarding a feature - that feature is always completed in the sense that, everything that comes afterwards pertains to bugfixes. What you see in screenshots is what the developer actually sees on their local development boards. Now, keep in mind it is indeed still under development and can change in the final build due to bug fixes and post-development cleanup, but the screenshots themselves are real.
Will there be more ajax featured in upcoming IPB updates...Maybe not as overstuffed as it is with Xenforo but a little more ajax is cool.
Well as things are always changing I can't give a definitive answer to that. I would imagine that it's a general "no" to 'big' ajax things in 3.3.4, but if you have questions or suggestions for 3.4, the IP.Board Feedback forum is always open to you.
Any particular location? Most of the important areas already have AJAX applied to them. Reputation, Posting, Commenting, etc.
