Exactly ! For a while first few month Kier/mike /ashley being around a lot , getting in touch with people spoiled them big time . Gave them a hope the community and communication from devs will remain same . It kinda grabbed attention from many folks and jumped for buying license . Now when coming to think about your forum seriously .

Forum is working fine ,community is growing nicely ! What are we missing .

Update from devs atleast if there will be update or not until certain time . Lot of add-on devs already abandoned their addons from updating it . Missing some important addon's as well .

Good answer. =) And nope I'm not blowing in the wind.
I support XF, and Mike. But I have 2 inactive licenses that I'll probably never use again.
Simply because I don't like the way most things have been handled.

I am exactly the same except that I also support Kier as well as Mike, and I only have one licence (which is also inactive).

Oops moderated out of existence on XenForo again.

As always it's...oh I can't be arsed. The site has become a joke.

Highlighted the anti-vB comments being posted by the fanbois.

Not the ones where they say they don't like the product, which is fine, but the rude and childish "bashing"...eg "screw vBulletin already" and "vBulletin sucks dirt", and similar.

In return I got abuse posted at me which I then highlighted.

All gone, but NOT the childish anti-vBulletin stuff.

There's no harm in posting what you don't like about a product, but the childish comments on there really don't do XF any favours at all.

The vB thread is just a distraction so people forget about 1.2 or 1.1.3.

I think tensions are running high at the moment because vB5 is getting some hype on the web. You might be better just laying low for a while. :lol2:

I predict imminent thread closure. Or "locking", or whatever trendy name it has these days.

I read a few posts in that thread and the sheer lunacy of some of them is amazing.

One guy said that the only competition to xenforo is burning board. Hell xenforo isn't even a blip on the screen yet. Far from it in fact. Even if they get past the lawsuit it will be years before they even come close to vbulletin or IPB in sales.

I'm all for defending and standing up for your product of choice, but, by God don't look like an idiot while you do it.

Who knows, I'm pretty sure it's all related to the lawsuit. It's obvious they wouldn't just want to f**k off their business just like you all conspire. Put a little real life reasoning and you should have no argument here, this is not a playground for them.

Well that vB5 thread has certainly taken all focus away from the real problem at hand there, lack of any news or releases being made at XenForo.

Just been catching up on what's been said in that thread, seems to have calmed down a lot since. In fact, it looks to have run it's course now.

Should never have gotten past page 1.
    It was merely a distraction.
Xf is going to need something else to shine infront of everyone to keep them busy.
Peggy, you're a mom. Have any old pacifiers in your junk draw?

Maybe for people living in US, not so much for UK based people. I joined Viglink before Skimlinks and there was something about the TAX side of things for UK based people that put me right off using it, think you have to fill your own tax forms in or something, sure they don't pay it auto for UK based people like they do for US ones with it being a US company. Unlike Skimlinks that's UK based and pays tax on earning for you.

Some people can't help themselves, they was warned by Slavik previous in the thread to stop with the nonsense or it would be locked. Head hitting brick wall springs to mind.
