    Hi everyone.

    Question 1:

I am planning a community forum/business directory site for either my county (I'm in the UK), or the region of the UK I am in (6 county's). I am trying to decide which target group to target (region or county).

The county I live in has a total population of @66,828*
The region (6 county's) has a total population of @663,397*

    *Figures from the 2011 census

If I went the county route, it would be easier to promote, but, is the population likely to be too small to get enough members to make it a vibrant community.

Or do I go the region route, and possibly have sub-sections for each county.

Other than a few local town forums, there does not appear to be any county/region forums (I have searched and could not find any).

    Question 2:

What should I call the site? I have a few ideas, but can not make my mind up. Plus you might have better ones. awww.adminaddict.net_data_MetaMirrorCache_3bf07e36d5dbcf89c5d8c43e20728417.gif

What I have come up with:

    * = county name or region name

    *community.co.uk
    *communityforum.co.uk
    *communityforums.co.uk
    *forum.co.uk
    *forums.co.uk

I have checked these and they are all available, and most are available with the net & com tld as well.

Do you think any of the above are better, or do you have a better one? Feel like I have been awww.adminaddict.net_data_MetaMirrorCache_8404926d777a3b1a58838cbf79803c70.gif for days trying to decide.

Any input on the 2 questions is really apreciated.

Oh, and sorry that I have not mentioned which county/region it is, but I do not want someone to beat me to the domain that I finally choose awww.adminaddict.net_data_MetaMirrorCache_c5860761ff714ba46330b13a46eac80d.gif

I would go for six country region format and as the site develops let each county have it's own local sub forum.

    Make it bilingual :D

    How about sgwrs.com or sgwrsia.com ? ;)
