I wouldnt worry about your page rank but if you have a lot of outgoing links on your forum without any rel="nofollow" on them it could be causing it to stay low especially if you're gaining quality back links too.

Are you currently building links? Are you doing article marketing and forum signatures to build links? What about getting posts, and guest writing on blogs?

And plus, PR isn't all that important - its about your rankings, and the content you bring to the users.

Google PR doesn't update as often as you'd like it to :killpc:. Keep working on increasing unique content.

I'd keep working on backlinks, that's the only way to increase your pr.
Submit your site to directories, comment on blogs with a link to your site.
Tbh I wouldn't worry to much about pr.

I've been told quite a lot here recently that submitting your URL's to directories is somewhat of a Google no no. Is this not the case? Also, the majority of them require a reciprocal link, which is also more of a pain than necessary when trying to maintain a clean page.

You should not worry about page rank if you are not doing link sales. High PR does not mean high traffic. Google consider around 200 factors to rank a website. PR is just a one factor.

It’s always better to focus on search position than PR.

Great job!

to the person that mentioned submitting to directories is a "no no" that isn't the case but it is best to submit to directories related to your niche.

Here is a good list I've used through the years.

Niche Directories - Add URL, Submit Your Site - Directory Critic

Happy to help :)
I know it's boring to submit to the directories but it does pay off over time.
