Assuming a reasonable cost (use your own definition), will you buy a copy? New site, evaluation of software, making modifications, making skins, convert existing site, anything.
Considering the way they are treating some of folks who voice their "opinions' I don't think I will buy it at least till they convince they have matured enough to handle their prospective customers with respect.
This needs a "Maybe" entry in the poll. I like what I see but can I use it, that remains to be seen once there is a cost, styles, mods and the like. I offer full featured sites, not just a forum.
Peggy I will not post examples, as that will turn you vs me thread and thats not my intention. If you ask me purely based on software piece and the way front end is looking, I will buy the license as soon as XF has Gallery or PP integration and capability to import IPB. But I am getting more and more concerned about handling of not so positive remarks on XF forums. With Keir and Mike at the help my expectations are high and expect a much graceful handling.

I would strongly consider it. I have just bought a second-hand owned Vb 3.8.4 licence to tide me over. I can't see myself staying with vB, I don't like the way they treat their customers.
I agree, I would of voted maybe only time will till for me What I have now is working great if I did buy it the price would have to be VERY good considering the product is less then one year old. Then I would just like to play around with it, not sure I'd want to invest a lot of time into another forum. *removed the triple post*
To be honest, at this point in time at least, I don't think I will buy it. Of course I understand that it's still be written and has a hell of a long way to go but I just don't like the look of it.
Definately needs a maybe. I will probably buy it just to open up my base for the designing. Depending on the templates and how they are put together. I have a few interested in switching, depending on the finished product.
I would vote maybe to probably not. I know they are great coders and seem to be forward thinking, but I have moved over to IPB this past April and won't move my community again unless IPB fails. Since Matt and the team over there listen and respond to the community I don't see that happening. I do like some of the features XenForo has, and plan on requesting them to the team of IPB for consideration of inclusion.. Jamie
Already bought one and have a new site up and running in BETA right now. http://www.TeeVeeTown.com I really enjoy the software and love the admin control panel on it
depends. I'm not going to spend the money (now) to only be told a few months later that the courts have said "you can't use this", so it's going to be a wait and see kind of thing. If all works out there, then definitely!
