I get this when a thread is stickied at the top what the name of the thread is:

    <!-- google_ad_section_start -->Title of Thread<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

We have no ads up. Sticky it & you get that. Un-stick it & it's gone. I've seen 1 or 2 posts in the middle of a thread with that too in it. When I edit it, the code is not there. I Googled this but no find.

Where would I start to look into removing this?

    Thanks

These templates would I look in the Admin CP> Style manger> or are they in the vb files? Their not in the templates in admin.

And it's odd to see this as we've never had Google Adsense as they don't approve of our content. Don't know if it's the same as a 'Google ad' or not.

If not in Admin, which one do you think it would be in in File Manager?

    Web Root (public_html/www),

    Home Directory,

Document Root - for my site?

    That's how new I am

    Thanks

So you see where I need some help understating things now. Can anyone recommend a more suited forum then this for this type of questions? Not vbulletin.com or .org though.
    Thanks

Nick is talking about the templates, under your style manager not the FTP.
Why not the com or org?

That's the whole problem. Everything is up and up except for not having the vb license #

Know a better suited forum where I'm able to post? I would appreciate any leads. I've seen a number of them but their all pretty small

Sorted now. It was the vbseo in general settings under "Log & Tracking Options" "Enable Adsense Section Targeting" & I set it to no.
    Thanks for the help.
    Now on to bigger probs

EDIT: Just to confirm Nick, that code was in the templates like you said. When I removed it from there it still showed in the title.
    Thanks all
