What version of vBulletin are you using?

Just wondering how many people here are still using 3 and how many have gone to 4.
We're using 3 and will never go to 4.

 

Version 3 on two of our forums and version 4 on one other forum, I think we will most likely upgrade in the future to XenForo or just wait it out till vbulletin gets to how we would like it.

4.0 for now. Though I do still have a 3 I've got that is expired.

Why is that?

If you are thinking about the internal aspect and not just the external appearance, then I think you'll be waiting a very long time for a complete rewrite. And that's what it will take.

 

One personal 3.8.4 forum, one 4.0.6 forum, and one more 3.8.6 forum that I just work on.

 

Cause it has been extremely quite on AA for a very long time? Not sure why I typed that at the moment.

 

I'am running the latest version of 3X on my main forum - 2 of my other forums have been closed.

With the latest version of 4 being released, I thinking about going to 4, but I'am just not sure yet. There are some important modifications I need to check on to make sure they have been ported to 4.

I'am not really happy with how the development of 4 has been going. The developers just now added support for internet explorer 6,,,,, that does not say a whole lot for internet brands dedication to a quality product.

I might wait for 1 more 4X update, and then switch from 3X to 4X.

 

Kevin, you might want to wait until 4.1 when the stylevars are more stable, or even 4.1.1 when the initial 4.1 bugs have had a chance to be fixed.

I hate 4... vB 3.8 the best vBulletin ever.

 

I'm still using vB 3.8. I haven't tried vB4 and don't plan to anytime soon.

 

I'm running 3.x now, will switch over to 4.1.x at some point

 

I run 3.8.4 so heavily modded that upgrading to 4.x would mean about the same effort as switching to something else. No way I'm going to do it any soon, and when I do, it won't be vBulletin anyway. I just don't want to have any further business with IB, no matter what.

I am using vB ver 4. I just started my new forum, so I never experienced any other version

 

I am using 3.8 version and I am quite happy with that.
