forums quiet on hot days?

i seem to notice that when it is hot, my forums are quieter.

i first noticed that a few years ago, when i first became a mod, that when it was summer, the forum was a lot quieter than when it was winter.

my forum seems really quiet lately, only one new member has joined over the past two days, complared to the usual 5-10 members a day.

i guess in the summer, people are doing more stuff outside

 

Ours is quieter by day when it's good weather, but then gets busier in the evening as people come in from being outside, ut saying that the summer is usually a busier time for us than the winter

 

Mine is brand new, but it seems like we get more post in the evenings. Not sure if that is because it's hot out, or that people are busy during the day.
The best option is to go international

 

What do you mean by international?

 

Ours has its ups and downs during the good and bad weather, to be honest its quite hard to say whether it is due to the weather or not.

 

I notice during most of the summer my board is quite a bit slower. Partly because it's a DJ's busy season and probably because they're doing things outside.

Even myself I spend a lot less time on the computer in the summer I'm always outside. For the most part after my morning check-ins I'm only online if I'm hiding out in the AC

 

July is usually my slowest month, with october and november being the next slowest.

Part of it - school just let out and people are spending more time outdoors.

October and November - are slow because a lot of my members are hunters. October and November are popular months for deer hunting. First weekend of november my traffic takes a nose dive - because a lot of members are hunting on the opening weekend.

July 4 is usually one of my slowest days - but that goes without saying. People are spending time with their familes doing other things.
