Greetings. I have been trying to find someone to help me, for a fee, with designing and implementing my ideas for a vB forum. I am totally dismayed at how when people post, looking for help on VB.org, even when desperate, that no one ever responds to their plea. Is there a reliable source for paid assistance? I am a totally-disabled Vietnam vet, so I don't have gobs of cash to spend, but I certainly believe in paying a fair amount for competent assistance. Your thoughts, anyone? Cheers, Frank P.S. My first post. Please be gentle. :-)
Hey Frank, if its a help regarding core vbulletin script, then vbulletin.com would be a better option instead of vb.org. Also, if you are still in support, raise a support ticket. Thanks.
Thanks for your response. Actually, it's no better at vb.com, sadly. None of what I require assistance with are "support" issues. Cheers. - Frank
Thank you for serving. Finding help, real help, has been the hardest part for me with regards to setting up and running a forum. Eventually, after studying forums like this for months, sought out specific people via PM based on how helpful they were. And eventually found someone long term willing to accept $ for work... vb.com, vb.org, and even forums like this are problematic finding help. Once a specific issue can be identified then it can be discussed / solved, but usually the more advanced questions are ignored.
