Hi all, I need a license that can be transfered to me for vbulletin 3.8.5 I have a forum that someone just gave me, a phpbb website, and I want to make it a vbulletin site. I really don't like the 4.0.x version, so all I need is 3.8.5. I generate zero income from my site, so the cheaper the better. Thanks Craig
I actually bought a Vbulletin 4.0 Publishing Suite License (No Expiration) along with 4 websites for $149 on ebay. Vbulletin has already transferred it into my name. Frankly, the only thing that I didn't like is knowing that you can only transfer a vbulletin license once. After that, you're stuck with it forever.....
I had no idea forum licenses were listed ebay, and did not know that vb4 licenses could only be transferred once. I learn more every day.
Below is the actual email I got from vbulletin.com which talks about the transfer being only one time. I highlighted it in red. Also, here is the ebay item I bought. It was extremly easy to buy and transfer. For the price, I thought I got a good bargin.
