Do you think vBulletin should continue with their gradual refactoring?

If it were up to me it's not of course but hey let me armchair quarter back here a bit.

Keep 3.8 and 4 as current stable. Let everyone who had a valid owned license for 3.8 continue to access 3.x updates. Only update both 3.8 and 4.x only for showstopper and security bugs.

Work on either a complete rewrite for 5 or take the already good 3.8 code then optimize and add on to it. Sell 5 as a new product (like 4 was) to owned license users and give people who paid for the crapfest that is 4 a steep discount for 5.

 

Yuo got my vote... But I hardly doubt it will happen...
