Has the site lost a bit of activity recently?

It seems to have gone a bit quiet from what I can tell, any real reason for that at all?

 

It's typically slow on weekends and Monday. Most sites are. I don't know about the rest of the week.

 

I know, but I recall the first few months the site was open it was more active in general, what happened? Was it when all the anti vB people moved on?

 

I'm here, a few times a day as of late.

 

I am here. It's just a busy time of year.

I'm here too, just been busy with my own site, plus finishing a remodel on the house. New floors were installed last week and new furniture delivered today, but I still visit the site pretty much every day.

 

The vB license was a rather big deal for a lot of peoples.

 

I'm in the same boat. We just did the master bedroom floor with hardwood, all custom of course. It even turned out a lot nicer then I anticipated.

 

It's time to finish up and get things in order now that the season for giving it over. We've just now got the house back in order and gotten into a normal routine.

 

ImperialBB and new responsibilities are getting in the way.

 

I know that I've been busy trying to get caught up on everything! On top of that, we're being transferred to GA this Summer. Another cross-country move for us, but I'm looking forward to it.

 

I try to visit this site on a daily basis. Its one of the few admin forums that has not filled up with spammers and "how do I rank well in google" threads.

Just about every other admin site I visit, they are full of people making useless post trying to build up signature links. This is one of the few places that I can go and see honest post by honest people.

 

True. I think one of the other admin sites (the largest one, no naming because it doesn't deserve it) has that problem to a ridiculous degree. As do most large webmaster forums like sitepoint nowadays.

I have thousands of unread posts I need to read. So in theory, I could spam the site up with one liners, but who wants that?

 

Same here, busy on my own forum.

But seriously, the vBulletin rants have lost their edge now. It's been going on for too long and people are just getting fed-up with going over, what's already been gone over a trillion times already. Many have moved on to other forum software too like IPB3, so have no reason to keep hyping on about vB anymore.

Even if you look on the vBulletin Customer feedback board. It's nowhere near as active as it was. A sign I'd say that many people have left vBulletin. Or feel it just pointless complaining anymore because it getting them nowhere.

 

Why don't you tell us what you really think is the reason for the decreased activity here. You know: how the fact that I use fake accounts has been "exposed" and everybody is disgusted and has left.

Because according to your website, that's the inside story.
