What are you using now?

 

We have been using phpbb since about 2004 and Wordpress for the cms for about 2 years. I like the look of the new Vbulletin 4.0

My partner in the site wants to wait and see if they fix it so you can have the blogs in a blog subdirectory, the forums in a forums subdirectory and the cms in the root.

 

I got in trouble for posting this pic on my own forum. Apparently someone thought the image was aimed at them and the thread when to hell in a hand basket quickly. Wound up having to close it...jeez DJs can be so sensitive.

 

I'd still hold off a few months, 4.0 is a train wreak to put it lightly

We definitely will be waiting for a while. My partner's work is killing him at the moment and has been for a few months and he doesn't think its going to stop for a while.

Hopefully Vbulletin can get a stable version out there during that time.

Naturally I pick now when he's busy to go on my let's switch to vbulletin crusade. lol.

Its really dragonlanceforums.com fault. I went there and they had upgraded to 4.0 and I liked how it looked.
