Anyway, I'm excited to see where this goes. I honestly can't wait; I wish I was around when vB was brand-new, but if Kier is working on something, it looks like everyone gets a second chance. :p

The only thing Im curious about atm is why this thread is in the "vBulletin and Internet Brands Passionate Discussion" forum, since it has nothing to do with either .....

Being the Lead Developer doesnt mean he is the Boss or calls the shots on business decisions. Like everyone else, he is an employee, therefore he has a rank and file he must follow. Jelsoft was much smaller, so things took longer. However, i dont ever recall Jelsoft ever stating they would commit to designing a CMS and Gallery for 3.x.

 

Amazes me how many of you pounce on a member because of something he posted on twitter about kiers "one line comment". Why don't we just allow kier to speak for himself shall we? He's a big enough boy to do the basic and fundamental every day tasks?

@Mrtgh (or whatever your name is) - No, everybody doesn't think kier is a god. He is however a respected, talented person of the community. I'm just telling you as it is. this can not be disputed.

@ peggy - Does the popcorn only come out when it's related to "non staff of vbulletin"? Or will the popcorn come out when we see the next wayney related thread?

@ray - How's the log cabin coming along? Send us all a postcard.

 

And in regards to the topic, if Kier makes a Exodus Community 1.0 or Scott makes a Facebook Social Forums 1.0 or Mike is making a Dolphin Threads 1.0 or who might be doing whatever, if at all. I wish them all the best luck. And once 'something' hits the market and it's stable, solid, and working as expected, and matching at least vBulletin and growing rapidly enough to be worth upgrading to .. and with an affordable price tag .. then it's time for me to reconsider sticking to 3.8 and invest in the 'market leader' package.

 

I don't agree what mrgtb has said but his personal abusive comments are external to this site (from what I see) there is nothing or not a lot the admins can do. His account here is separate.

I think people are wise enough to come to a conclusion themselves about any writings anyone person writes/posts. Nonsense or not.

 

At least I have the balls to say something (myself) if I have something to say. Unlike you, who just wants to hide behind other vBulletin members by posting hints (tweets) about Internet Brands and vBulletin for others to jump-on and rant about it instead of yourself. So you keep your squeaky clean vBulletin image intact. Grow some balls Floris, your like a big woman.

Bottom line Floris, you didn't like the fact I posted this about you on my site, after you decided to block me in Twitter when I asked you straight forward reasonable question. That question I asked you at the time was this below:

"Why don't you post about it yourself on your own site for once, instead of keep supplying the information in Twitter about vBulletin and Internet Brands for others to slag them off instead".
