Blog Posts to Thread

I just did upgrade to 2.0.2. I screwed up an update on my server and had to redo it. Long story. Give me 20 to 30 minutes to check things out. It wasn't in 2.0.1.

 

OK - Up to 2.0.2 and I see the option in the Admin CP > Options. The icon shows up in posts, too. Somehow I missed the 2.0.2 update. MY, I'm getting old.

All is good except that I want to be able to move a thread to the thread starter's blog, not my blog.

Oh, well. So it goes.

 

They have to do it themselves. Just tell them to click the link.

 

I just made a 'Work Instruction' for members. I would post a link but I'm not sure of the restrictions here with respect to links. I have a relatively comprehensive 'How To' / 'Instructions' section in my forums. Somehow I missed the 2.0.2 Blog upgrade (please excuse an old man's memory and attention span).

I am in the process of getting a paid mod so that I (as the admin) can move a whole thread to the original poster's blog. That's what I'm really after.

I do want to say Thank You to each of you who has helped me in this thread. It is *very* much appreciated!

You can get blog posts to threads. You just can't share the comments posted about it in the thread and the blog. They will be separate. Just dedicate a forum to an RSS feed of the blog. Done.
