I don't see the results of your research all that accurate. Maybe they are not using vB 4 because its still in BETA and not good to use for a large, live forum?

 

vB 4 is not BETA, it's GOLD.

 

It's officially been released as gold, so if that was their reasoning, they'd be expecting everyone to use something they themselves don't think is ready, and be pretty much hypocrites for acting like it is.

 

I should ask what is meant here with respect to the sites that the OP listed...

Are you referring to vb4 Forums Classic or the full Suite?

 

I realize this is my first post, I read a lot but don't necessarily post a lot on forums. But I couldn't pass this up since I have just bought 4.0 full, unfortunately with eager anticipation ...........
