I just decided to have one today, and my first attempt is (no introduction yet): DS Ultimate Forums- Nintendo DS forums- Forum Rules and Regulations But, I'm no legal expert, so what things are possibly legally dangerous and should be changed? Should I change how it's split up into sections? Oh, and I don't live in the USA, meaning this could be interesting about how any laws might be different...
I'm busy revising mine too. I lurked around and divided mine into 4 sections, which IMO cover whats needed 1. Disclaimer (your not responsible for mistakes + your not responsible for messages by members on your forum) 2. Terms of use 3. Privacy statement (see http://www.adminaddict.net/forum/security-legal/legal-concerns-online-communities-privacy-4377/) 4. Copyright (yours + Nintendo in your case)
Feel free to check out the five documents I have compiled for use on my three forums, including AdminAddict. They should cover just about everything, considering I've spent about two years forming them, little by little.
I didn't understand that either. No need to apologise, I was just saying I already took inspiration from AdminAddict.
