Matt's been keeping busy, working on IP.Blog and here are a couple of screenshots of a new feature.

I like following @mattmecham on Twitter, as he is always providing updates on what he's working on. And there generally are a few humorous snippets mixed in there, as well. ;)

Twitter? Bah! Can't be doing with it.

Passing fad, and a spam-ridden fad at that.

Where companies decide to announce something solely on Twitter, they are not wanting that announcement to reach the many, many people who will not take Twitter seriously as a communication medium.

As a social networking chat type thing it's probably fine, if that's you bag. Which in my case it isn't.

Gee, can anyone believe that Mark would be b*tching about something? And I'll wager if he goes back to read the first sentence of my original post, he'll doubtless find something to gripe about there too.

I hope the rest of your day has gone better for you, Mark.

Well, as you already know, I've always thought Invision had a much better handle on things like blogs and profiles. Without trying to speak too poorly of vB, they're playing catch-up and have been for quite some time.

No. Invision has always made a better fist of blogs than vB. However, although Invision as a whole is a very competent and extremely good piece of software, personally it doesn't suit me as much as vbulletin does. So I'd never "bitch" about Invision as it's pretty good.

Twitter, on the other hand....give me strength.

Well, I sure killed this thread.

    I'm good at that.

If YOU have any threads that you're bored with but can't be bothered to close, for a small fee I'll make a post in it, and I guarantee nobody will ever reply again!

Just to comment on this: My twitter account is written from my perspective. It's not an official account and neither do I publish it on our websites. It's just my daily observations or comments on my work solely from my perspective.

We do have official news sources, such as our forum and company blog. We also have an official twitter account and Facebook page.

Don't worry about Mark's comment much... He's in a 'Twitter is useless' streak.

On the other hand, I like the way IPB is going(Specially IP. Blog), I'm considering a license or two...

Thanks FMB. Everyone is certainly entitled to an opinion and I'd never try and convert theirs.

Just wanted to clear up the confusion over my twitter page being "official". I post a lot about my development work because that's a large part of my day. I also tweet about my boy and what I'm up to.
