I'm looking for a nice skin for my ipb forum, I wouldn't mind a free one for now, but I'll consider a paid skin if it's real nice. I've been gathering a list of ipb skinning sites here, but really haven't had time to check them out. I like a modern clean look that I can, or is already optimized for SEO. Thanks for the help -Brandon ps.. I'd like it to work with my logo as well, I have the PSD's but would rather not change the colors... (same icon as my current avatar on AA)
My favorite skins are at IBSkin - Invision Skins - Invision Board Skins - IPB Skins and http://www.skinbydragonfly.com/.
I grabbed a skin from IBSkin for one of my sites. It was so close to the vB style I had used on the site, I couldn't pass it by.
I'm going to get ip.content purchased, than I'll be looking for a skin again I'd like one that matches our logo here.. View attachment 776 the background is clear, but I guess it shows as white here. ah.. click the image and you'll see it with a clear background. still open for suggestions
Here is a nice skin a member posted, not sure it matches the logo though. IPBForumSkins.com // Premade Invision Power Board skins // Checkered
This one is nice, going with the gray feel of the one you posted, and it's free. I have it installed and it's well done. I'm in the process of transfering my stuff back to IPB. I'll really try to keep an eye out for your colors. Board Message
Your welcome! It's really easy to install, go to Look/Feel Import/Export on the left menu Browse and select the .xml file, upload Browse and select the image.xml file, then select the skin, upload Manage Skins Go to skin and Edit settings, I like to remove the import comment and you can select a different smiley set up if you have one and if you want users to see it or not. You can also click on the binoculars to make it shown to users. It really is so simple!
Here's the other gray based skin and it's outstanding too. As soon as I get settled with my board, I'm going to look into purchasing a membership at her site. I prefer lighter skins, but once you are inside to post it's lighter. Invision Power Services -> Download Manager -> Miscellaneous Skins -> IP-Duo
