Best FREE (or inexpensive) IPB skins and styles

Guys and gals,

I'm about to purchase one of the IPB licenses on the 4-day special that they're running and I wanted to start to do my research on the best looking free styles and skins for the IPB suite.

Any suggestions?

I've found the following free skin sites, but I'd like to know if there are more that everyone knows about.....

Provided that others help you out (I would but I don't use IP.Board - haven't for years), this will make for a great resource - so it is now the first IPB section Sticky! :woohoo:

Surprisingly there are not a whole lot of IPB skins out there.

 

I personally like John's quality skins. I also appreciate a small notice he's made on his licenses.

 

Are John's styles still available for IPB? There were only a couple that showed with the Invision mini-banner and the one that I tried to pull the demo for was not working.

 

Not sure, Arny. I haven't spoken to John in many months. I recently sent him a PM elsewhere, but I haven't gotten a reply since then.

Also check out http://www.ibskins.com/shop. A friend had a customized one done that turned out really well.

 

I contacted Miner and he's working on finishing up some styles for IPB. I'm going to have him customize one of his styles a little for me

Miner created the skin that I currently use at Walt Disney Boards, so we have some history and he's solid when it comes to support and assistance. :thumbup:

 

One site that has some nice, fairly inexpensive skins is Skinbox.Net.

they also have a section for skins that are on sale atm.

 

Use SkinGround, it's the loveliest.

Ah yes, forgot to mention that one as well, have purchased a couple since he's taken it over and been impressed.

 

Looking at all of my forums, on two I use skins by Ehren and on one I use a skin by Tom Christian, his stuff is nice and sleek as well
