Yes, that's the splash page. And look at the domain.

 

People (individuals) dislike major change. They like things in their proper boxes. Right where they left them.

People (collective) love change.

 

Except skunks and chinchilla type creatures. Change would most likely secure a place in the extinction tree all of fame.

Do for people who work for vb get Vbulletin free? I mean they must get something or thats pretty harsh =)

 

I got an error message in PHP from that page a few minutes ago, and God their site is currently SLOW.

 

Lmao, its Password protected now..

 

I think they mucked a lot up.

Why didn't they just keep up the splash page image while all this was happening?

^That's what I linked to in one of the screenshots. But yeah, I forgot... isn't it a bad thing to do to make a link to the home page lead to a .htaccess password protected non working demo of the forum that's just saying 'Access Denied' to all your potential customers?

 

That is what you would see on a vBulletin 4.0 forums which are turned off and no CSS is supplied.

As for the slow servers, when you make changes to a large database and then replicate those changes to slave servers, it can tend to slow things down a little. Should be up soon™.

 

Is it me, or is vBulletin.org also really slow/down?
