Help with FTP?

Yeah, I can't access my site via FTP, but can access Plesk and such fine. I'm using FileZilla for the FTP Client program, and the IP address of the server for hostname, and an account setup in Plesk for the login details... but it just says the connection's timed out or the like, yet the site itself is working perfectly fine as said time.

Any assistance?

 

Try SFTP instead of FTP - just change the setting in filezilla and not the server.

A lot of host deny access via ftp because the username and password are transmitted in clear text.

Probably hosting service having downtime. Happened to me like few days ago.
