Add AA to Tapatalk network?

I just got tapatalk for my iPhone (not sure how many others have it) but its actually sorta nifty.

Any chance to get AA added to their network? It only takes a few seconds and is pretty simple to do. (Register it, upload a folder, submit it)

What exactly is tapatalk?

 

I didn't know until just, but it's a cool application that allows you to use the iphone interface to browse forums. I've just registered on tapatalk and will be installing it on all my forums. I'm sure the iphone will take over the world as a phone standard soon enough. Can't see anybody getting one and going back to inferior phones.

 

I really don't think iPhone will take over, only teens and some people who actually just want it for the looks use it.

I'ts a brilliant phone, really quick, I have the 32Gb S and it's brilliant. The software updates come through quicker than any other phone manufacturer, and it's not buggy at all. Comparing it to phone slike the blackberry storm, sony-erricson xperia x1 and then the cheaper phones on the market, it's got to be a good 10 times better than it's nearest rival which over here is probably the storm.

I'm not even an apple user to be honest but after dealing with apple for support once when I screwed something up I think I might just switch. They're A1 through and through.

 

I used to have an iPhone and it broke, so yes I know how 'good' the iPhone is. Really I would just use it to go out or college. I have three phones all for different things, Sony Ericson iW305 to connect with my computer, LG VU as my 'regular' every day phone[college, shopping, etc] and a LG Xenon for going out at night... Sorry but I'd prefer the LG Xenon over the iPhone.

 

It is installed, im still not fully clear on how tapatalk works though Are they charged for their services or something?

 

They charge for their app. So the users using it on their iphones have to pay £1.79 (over here in the UK) and they get to browse all forums with it installed on the forum, and to install it on your forum it's free.

I just have to make my 90 x 90 png logo's (as it wont let me submit my sites without them and I'm on the laptop which has no design software on it) and then I'm all set to go!

I just used a gif and it worked a treat and it was a lot larger than 90x90 so it may work for you.

Are they charged per day or is this a one off charge for permanent access?

 

I don't have vBulletin...yet. If I did TappaTalk wouldn't be useful for my site.

Just a thought, other phones that have apps, will this tapatalk be available for those too does anybody know?

I think some of the newer nokias have the facebook apps etc.

its fine for you younger people but for us somewhat optically challenged older set we can see bugger all squared on such a small screen so it is rather pointless. I have a phone that's a phone and a netbook thats...well a netbook for when I am travelling otherwise it's 3 x 22 inch screens

 

Tried one, used one, hated it.

Don't like anything Apple does. It's all counter-intuitive.

Then again I don't like mobile phones at all. I have to have one but I'd rather not.

 

I have it working on 5 forums now. Great app, thanks for this guys.

Also, a tip. The listings are in alphabetical order, so "A Plumbing Forum" gets you right at the top whereas "Plumbing Forum" is a page or two down.

 

Whats with guests now viewing the mobiquo directory? I see them constantly in there, well not all guests but there is a few in there every now then.
